People have power … only when they can connect…
talk to each other, listen to each other, make decisions together, and act in concert.
We Stand Together is making such connections by building a horizontal network of ordinary Democrats who know and support each other.
Our immediate goal is to help Democrats regain the House in 2026 by raising money for carefully chosen county Democratic committees in swing states and Congressional Districts.
Our longer term vision is to support activism and revive the Democratic Party.
The basic units of our network are the more than two thousand local Democratic Party committees that are active every day of every year in wards, towns, and counties all across America.
These committees are comprised of everyday volunteer Democrats who come together and work together because they care about their community and country.
We believe that these Democrats should play a leading role in shaping our Party’s priorities and leading it to victory.
Not mega-donor billionaires. Not fundraisers in LA. Not think tanks in Washington.
Just the rank-and-file Democrats at the state, district, and county who are doing the hard work of trying to win elections.
Knocking on doors, listening to their neighbors, recruiting and supporting local candidates, organizing precincts, printing sample ballots, hosting July 4th barbecues, and more.
Day in and day out these Democrats send an important message to their community:
“We know you and we care about you. We are here with you.”
Yet today these frontline Democrats have little voice or power in the Democratic Party.
All the power is in the hands of those who raise lots of money and those who donate it.
No wonder Democrats are associated with the “elite.” No wonder the Party is so out of touch with rural and working-class Americans.
The only way to change this is if Democratic local committees—and state committees—can get some power of their own.
They already have latent power in their numbers and their work. But that power can become real only when they have their own funding sources and the ability to connect directly with each other, and other Democrats all across the country.
For this, they need a network.
We Stand Together is building it.
